ABOUT our Summer Intensive
Dancers ages 10-12 years old. By audition or special invitation, only.
The Ballet West Academy’s Young Dancer Summer Intensive in Park City, Utah is a 2-week program and will be held at the Peggy Bergmann Ballet West Academy Park City Campus.
The Ballet Wset Academy’s Young Dancer Summer Intensive in Salt Lake City, Utah is a 1-week program and will be held at the Jessie Eccles Quinney Ballet Centre.
The Young Dancer Summer Intensive is specifically designed for dancers between the ages of 10 and 12. The program provides rigorous training while balancing the developmental needs of younger students. Dancers participate in daily ballet technique classes, as well as a variety of supplemental classes for girls and boys; including pre-pointe/ pointe, boys technique, other dance styles, and seminar classes relating to topics such as nutrition and growth mindset. Classes will be taught by Ballet West Academy Faculty, Ballet West Dancers and guest artists. The program culminates with a presentation in the studios.
