PERFORMANCE TEAMS
at our Park City Campus

Ballet West Academy in Park City has a performance team level of training. The focus of the performance team is on building excellent dance technique, teamwork, and performance skills in multiple styles of dance. Being part of a team teaches important skills such as: responsibility, self-discipline, dependability, sportsmanship, and friendship. Participation in a performance team offers multiple opportunities for performance throughout the year in addition to the annual Park City Nutcracker and the Spring Concert. Placement in a performance team requires a placement audition as well as commitment, dedication, and discipline from both dancers and parents. This is a one year commitment, these groups will also have workshop and competition expectations.

Dancers are required to register for and attend their appropriate level of ballet technique, jazz technique, turns, leaps, and tricks, tap and contemporary choreography.

ACCEPTANCE & PLACEMENT | Acceptance and placement is determined by an audition held before the new fall season, or an audition can be arranged with the Park City Principal.

EVALUATIONS | Students are evaluated yearly in the form of an exam demonstrating their progress and potential.
